These 1.522 ct round lab-grown diamond stud earrings are set with 42 round lab-grown diamonds of 0.005 ct each, 52 round lab-grown diamonds of 0.006 ct each and 2 round lab-grown diamonds of 0.5 ct each. The lab-grown diamonds are shared equally between the two earrings, so they match. Each lab-grown diamond is held in a six prong setting. You choose the gold: 18kt or 14kt, in yellow, white or rose. In 18kt gold the metal weighs 4.28 g, and in 14kt it weighs 3.63 g. Each pair comes with your choice of a screw back or a push back. Every piece is made to order, so yours are made for you after you order. A lab-grown diamond is the same carbon, with the same hardness, as one taken from the ground. It is grown by chemical vapour deposition (CVD) rather than dug, which is what puts a lab-grown diamond of this size within reach, and it is the lower-impact choice. Each lab-grown diamond we set is made by chemical vapour deposition — CVD — and is chemically the same as a mined diamond: the same carbon lattice, the same hardness, the same fire, graded on the same colour and clarity scales used for mined diamonds.
